Before the big awards push in the next 3 months, felt like the right time to take a temperature of the best of the year in movies so far.
It’s a three movie top tier as of right now, a saint (Sorry, Baby) and a whole mess of Sinners, with Weapons, who will be prominently featured on here.
But there’s so much more, including another already sneaky great animated year, but from an unlikely country of origin for animated movie greats.
